Commissioned Sales Person
Are you the type of person who never met a stranger and loves cold calling? What motivates you? Want more of what motivates you?

PentaGRAFX is looking for at least one commissioned salesperson who — preferably — has some experience with the graphic arts or other forms of communication, can generate lots of business quickly, and service those accounts, too. Must be detail-oriented and very good at follow-through.

Even if you already represent other companies, we can work with you, as long as you can produce for us.

Freelancers


Art Director
You live in a visual world. You see the Golden Mean in everyday things. And you inhabit a realm where there's a place for everything and everything is in its place. Plus, you play well with others — clients, creative directors and production artists. We prefer people with actual talent to pretenders. Be Mac-based or be gone.
Production Artists
This is not a design position — but we want someone who has a good design sense, can take direction well and work quickly to produce art files that are clean and free of errors and bad layout practices. You understand the old concept of “measure twice, cut once." And you definitely don't suck at creating complex layouts that print perfectly.
Flash Freak
You see things and want to make them move. But you don't like things that move just to see them move — what's the purpose in that? You're impatient; can't stand waiting for things to load. You have a sense of humor — wry, sardonic, sometimes self-effacing. You didn't just run to the dictionary. Oh, and, cut back on the caffeine, will ya?
XML/HTML/CSS Code Warrior
Face it, you're just plain weird. You can play 52-pickup with the alphabet — errr. . . two alphabets — and make things that are simply beautiful to behold. Orderly, functional, smmmoooooooth. Oh, yeah. . . and fast. You code in your sleep. Your cat hates you because you're so focused on coding you forget to feed him/her/it.

All PentaGRAFX freelancers must have a Mac with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Macromedia tools (yeah, yeah, we know they're Adobe now, too) as appropriate, enough memory and storage to do our jobs quickly without waiting for their systems to catch up, and a fast broadband connection. We prefer non-smokers and people who actually do what they say they're going to do.
